Patient Information

Everything you need to feel prepared for your child’s visit.

Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning for a routine checkup, we want your family to feel comfortable and informed.

New Patient Visits

During your child’s first visit, our team will review their medical history, discuss current health concerns, and help establish a plan for ongoing pediatric care. We welcome your questions and want you to feel confident about your child’s healthcare.

Preparing for Your Child’s Appointment

Please bring relevant information about your child’s health, including insurance information, current medications and allergies, available immunization records, previous medical records, and questions you would like to discuss. For newborn visits, parents may also wish to bring hospital discharge information and feeding records.

Medical Records & Patient Forms

Some appointments may require completed forms or records from a previous healthcare provider. Visit our Forms & Resources page to find available documents and information. If you would like to access your existing records with us, please visit our Patient Portal.

Insurance & Payment Information

We accept many insurance plans, including TRICARE options for military families. Coverage and referral requirements may vary. Contact our office to verify participation with your specific plan before your visit.

Insurance, Payments & Billing Policies

Please bring your current insurance information to every appointment so our staff can verify or update your details and bill your plan accurately. If current insurance information is not available, you may be responsible for the cost of services and asked to pay at the time of your visit.

  • Credit Card on File for High-Deductible Plans

For patients with high-deductible health plans, Pediatric Partners El Paso requires a credit card on file to secure payment for services. Our office processes applicable payments after receiving the explanation of benefits from your health insurer. Payment information is handled by a third-party payment processor.

If you prefer not to keep a credit card on file, 80% of the visit cost is required at the time of service. Please contact our office if you have questions about this policy.

  • Accepted Payment Methods

We accept cash, checks, and Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit and debit cards.

At Pediatric Partners El Paso, we strive to provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare and a positive experience for every family. Our office policies explain what to expect and help us serve patients as smoothly as possible.

  • Appointment Cancellations & No‑Shows

If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $25 no-show or late-cancellation fee. Giving advance notice helps us offer the appointment to another child who needs care.

We understand that unexpected situations happen. If you need to cancel or expect to arrive late, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Notice of Privacy Practices

We are committed to protecting your child’s protected health information (PHI). Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains your rights and our responsibilities for using and sharing health information. Please ask our office for the complete notice.

  • Transitioning to Adult Care at Age 21

Our practice provides pediatric care through age 21. As patients reach this age, they will need to transition to an adult healthcare provider. We encourage families to plan ahead and contact our office with questions about this transition.
